Can you beat an unwarranted/illegal search?

What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to help with a warrentless or illegal search of a vehicle, or should one just give up? It seems that everyone who has a question about this subject seems to get the same answers....You're screwed!

Apparently, to me at least, you already know that you should give up because you are screwed.

The evaluation of whether a search was conducted with cause or not is very fact-specific. The only good advice that anyone can give would be that you need to consult an experienced attorney and see if the issues surrounding the search in question can be challenged.

There are many reasons to search a vehicle. The bottom line is that if the officers had good cause to believe contraband was in the vehicle, they might have been justified in the search ... and if they were impounding or towing the vehicle they also had good cause. And if the owner or operator of the vehicle gave permission for it to be searched, then there is also good cause.
