I can't with the disgusting assumptions. I feel for you, I really do. Actually, what matters is that we are separated, we had planned on separating while he gets help and then this happened. Blessing in disguise of sorts maybe or maybe not. No, that is not what happened. Do you have kids? Little kids? Or even a little dog? I probably accidentally hurt one of them almost every day, as they are always underfoot. My husband saw this & made a huge deal about it, went into what looked like a dissociative state....It was horrible to witness.

This place should be called freemeanadvice, as it's truly horrible to make speculations and then tell someone their kids deserve to be taken from them.
I think it's truly horrible to subject children to violent idiocy, but that's just me.

Bonus round: Carl on the other site has just told you the same thing.

Extra credit: I'm the only person who has responded who actually lives in WA.

If you think that the state can't take your kids, you're delusional and your children need to be somewhere else.
Ic is a sorry ...person? thing? :(

IC is likely a very good name for you if you think hurting a child or pet every day is normal. I have 2 children and several small pets. They are not injured by me. EVER.
Good for you. Sometimes things happen. Should have edited to clarify *almost hurt*, as I have never injured my child nor have they ended up injured as a result of anything but even if they did, accidents happen sometimes. This has never happened to me but I've definitely heard of babies getting a bruise because their head got hit on a door frame while holding them, for example. Toddlers run fast, follow you closely and trip-ups happen. But kids cry even if they're not injured. I definitely trip over my dog almost every single day, sometimes he cries out because of it. But good for you for being perfect and super coordinated.

Please seek help. Your opinions are not typical, IMHO.

They're not opinions, they're things that actually happen to people. My child just hugged me so hard that we bonked heads and it hurt. The other day she ran up & hugged me roughly and I got a fat lip. If you've never had any of these many things not happen to you, maybe you're not present enough as a parent or are neglecting your child from your physical affection.

Yeah...I am not affectionate enough to cause cuts and bruises. I'll let my children know how sorry I am that I was reticent in my affection. Perhaps if they had a black eye or broken toe they might have turned out better.

Why is everyone on here so rude and arrogant? No, I don't understand how I'm "risking custody" point blank. If you're not going to help, then please just go somewhere else. Geez. People are going through hard times and people must come and give them harder times? I'm *in* the situation, everything is difficult, cloudy, and uncertain, which is why I came to others who are not in the situation and thus things should be much clearer to them. Thanks.
You don't listen to a subpoena and show up, you can find yourself with a police escort. If you don't follow through, you can find CSB marching in to your house to remove your children because you refuse to be responsible and protect them. Rude and arrogant? Why are you so stupid and pathetic?
Should I continue? I have seen judges put people that ignore subpoenas in JAIL. Maybe you belong there.
