| (a) A person commits the crime of burglary in the third degree if he knowingly enters or remains unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime therein. (b) Burglary in the third degree is a Class C felony. It's the least severe charge of burglary (but still nothing to be sneezed at). It means she wasn't armed or otherwise threatening to a person in the house she was breaking into. A class C felony is good for 1 - 10 years in prison. |
