Cop Kicking Back of Head

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Ohio

The cops came to a friend of mine's house, knocking on the door and yelling for a person who was not, and is never there. The people in the house ignored it (there big mistake) thinking that the cops would go away. Later, they noticed that the cops had not gone away, and were now breaking things on my friend's pourch. They continued to scream that if the boys opened the door, they would be tazed. The boys sat in the basement.

Finally, the cops burst through the door, and came into my friend's home with guns drawn. The boys immediately put their hands up. The cops told them to lay down on the floor with their hands behind their heads, and they did so, no complaints. They then kicked all of the boys in the ribs, and one in the back of the head, causing his face to smash into the ground and his teeth to break through his lip. He had to get several stitches at the hospital, and the puddle of blood that stained the carpet is as big as a bowling ball.

Some of the boys are not yet eighteen. The boy who was kicked in the head, does not have insurance or enough money to pay for an expensive prescription he needs for the cuts on his face, nose, and lip. Nothing was found on that boy, but he was handcuffed and taken anyways.

There are over ten witnesses, some of who are not even close with the boy, who have said that he was following the officer's every words, and doing as they said. After being kicked, he remained with his head in the blood until they told him he could get up. Do cops have the right to harm someone WITHOUT reason? (I know they can if the person is resisting arrest, but that is not the case) - exspecially a seventeen year old?

The cops also failed to present a warrant.
