What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Connecticut

My friend dated this girl last year while they were dating she had a stalker who hacked into her email stole her 3 of her naked pictures(around march of last year) that were in there and created a facebook account with those pictures. They broke up in december and haven't really been in contact since then, he got a call from the police asking him to come to the station because they wanted to ask him a few questions but wouldn't say exactly about what over the phone but they did say it was about someone he used to be friends with reporting about him. He complies and goes to the station as requested 2 days latter, he gets there and long story short their accusing him of posting those pictures. Apparently the fake email was made over his IP address and when the pictures were posted that was done over his IP address. We really think someone jealous was trying to have him framed his not that type of guy and why would he make a fake facebook using naked pictures of his girl, it makes no sense. He lives in an urban neighborhood where cars drive by all day and his wifi is open so anyone can literally pull up by his house and use his wifi. He told the police their entire history and tried explaining to the cops that it wasn't him but all they kept saying was tell the to truth, they gave him their card and told him that he had one day to think about it to tell them the truth and then they will get a warrant for his arrest. His freaking out right now because it really wasn't him and is afraid that they will come arrest him at his job,he tried contacting his ex but she won't respond, his never been in trouble with the law before not even a traffic ticket so he has no clue what to do. What should he do?

He should stop talking to the police without an attorney present. If they had any proof it was him, they would have already arrested him.

Thanks I will let him know, they also showed him the pappers with his IP address and said that they had more information but they weren't showing him

Your friend should be dealing with this himself instead of you dealing with the situation for him with second-hand information.
