Criminal Background Check

Im about to start a job at a pharmaceutical company this coming thursday and they need to perform a criminal background check. My question is, do pending criminal cases show up on the background check? I havent even had my preliminary hearing yet.

yes, they do. or rather they can. I suppose it would depend on who was doing the background check and how thorough they were.
