Cry 4 Help in Washington, Clark County

What is the name of your state? Washington.
We are in dire need of an criminal defense attorney for the criminal cases (which I do not understand all the codes, etc.) posted below for someone that was arrested & still in custody as of 10/03/2007 and held without bail. His next court is an readiness hearing on 10/25/2007 at Clark County Superior. His charges are assault 2 & violation of no contact order. We are low income which of course is strictly budgeted by me. If anyone knows of an attorney that would be willing to review his cases and possibly agree to represent him as his attorney & in court please let me know. I understand that attorneys are very expensive and that there are low-income legal services available but I was not able to find any for criminal cases. It is a violation of the TOS to do a referral...but there is a "Find an Attorney" button at the top of the page.

It looks like he was appointed an attorney back in July (Rucker, Steven Jay), and released on a supervised bond that same month.

Then he violated the conditions of his bond, and failed to appear in court, and a warrant was issued on Sept. 24th.

I'd start by getting in touch with Mr. Rucker, and find out whether he's still the attorney, and if not, who is.

Apparently he's in custody for first violating the conditions of his being released on July 12th, after posting a $30,000.00 and then failing to appear at the violation hearing on Sept. 17th. If he's claiming low income, how did he come up with the $3,000.00 for the bondsman to bail him out?
Sadly, that money was a complete waste since he violated the court ordered conditions of his release and is now being held without bail.
I'm sorry to say that he has apparently created this no bail hold situation himself. I doubt you'll find any attorney willing to work pro bono as a result of his actions.

I don't know how else to put this, other than to say that he did a very stupid thing when he violated the court order. I'm sure it was clearly explained to him that doing so would land him back in jail without the option of bail. An attorney is not going to represent someone without compensation, who is known to do stupid things, who has a history of failing to appear and who does not follow court orders.

Has he asked for a public defender?

Well I want to thank all of you for ur advice, opinions, the fact of the way it is & will be. Mostly for taking the time to read my post here & then replying. I agree that what he has done is a stupid choice on his part by not complying with what the Judge had previously ordered.
