| my husband has court on tomorrow. He received citations for both of the previous listed charges. He was charged with disorderly conduct because the officer asked him to go in the house...but his car needed to be moved before going in the house, otherwise it would've been towed. Then the officer asked him for his drivers liscense, my husband told him that they were in the car, but the officer refused to let him get them out of the car...he has court on tomorrow....what do you think the outcome will be? Again, the citations were for disorderly conduct and refusal to surrender suspended liscense... ![]() |

Why was he told to go in the house? Was he causing a scene outside? Why was his car going to be towed? And whose decision was it to move the car? if the officer told him to go inside and he decided to defy the officer and stay outside to move the car, that might be a problem - particularly if he was drunk. And why did he refuse to turn over the license? I imagine both offenses are low level misdemeanors and at least the conduct charge stands a chance of some jail time .. though I doubt that will happen. However, I am not familiar with GA procedures and penalties, so I couldn't say with any certainty what might happen to him. - Carl
