driving summons prior to Sentencing court date

basically i have court the 14 of april (monday) just got a summons for
UNNECESSARY NOISE PERSONAL DEVICE while driving today wondering if that will affect the Sentence in which i will be given 3 year probation officer told me to report to court before june 19 of 2008 any know how will this play out for me thanks

This mostly depends on what your sentence is for. As an example, a judge probably won't add probation time to a drug user for a lack of wearing a seatbelt. That being said, a judge CAN, and sometimes does, add time on to a sentence for unrelated offenses that s/he feels compound the original charge. They want you to keep your nose clean.
