North Carolina

I pressed charges on somebody for assault and the court date is coming up. I was wondering if there’s anyway to drop those charges and not have to go to court. To be honest I just don’t feel like dealing with it and since I was not hurt I’m not really worried about it, thanks!

The charges were brought against the person by the prosecutors office. They are the only ones that can drop the charges. Talk to someone there.
