What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Iowa - Neighbors are known meth heads. The husband keeled over dead from a heart attack the other day. Will the autopsy show if there was meth in his system? If so, would that be enough cause for authorities to search the house and arrest the wife if meth is found?? Maybe then we will have decent neighbors :)

No. Mind your business.

If they own the house what makes you think you will get better neighbors?

Lmao

Banned Princess - Your replies mean nothing to me. From reading some of your other replies it appears that you are worthless to this forum.
I am in awe at the respect you get from your colleagues such as "Legally your statements in this post and the other post are incorrect." "Pulling answers out of your rear" Toooooo funny :)

I happen to concur with BP.

Legally, this is none of your business. It's not YOU, YOUR HOUSE, or YOUR legal issue that is in question here. And seriously? People keel over and die from heart attacks all the time. That doesn't mean that the person was a meth-head.

If you want to know what's going to happen, ask your local law enforcement. Chances are pretty good that they will tell you to mind your own business as well.

No one can say what a tox screen will show. If there was meth in his system, it should show up. However, the mere presence of meth in his system is not likely to present sufficient probable cause, by itself, to support an application for a search warrant. Unless the police REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to get inside, I doubt they will give it a second thought.

And why would they arrest the wife for her husband's overdose? Unless they can catch her dealing drugs, in possession, or under the influence, she's not likely to face any ramifications from hubby's death.

If the neighbors are such a problem, report all activity and problems to the police or the local drug task force.
