Drunk in public

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I was arrested in California for drunk in public. My court date is next month. (Still haven't been charged) The officer wrote 2 for Feb, when he should have written 3 for March. If the date is wrong on the ticket does it mean it's voided? Will it be dismissed? Also if I am not charged by the court date what are the odds they use the year time frame to charge me for such a small charge?

Eh? The citation IS the charge. Clerical errors aren't going to get you off.
