duration of warrant

If a person moves to another state while there is a pending charge. What is the active time frame of a warrant? Confused about the statutes of limitations??? Will charges be dismissed over a period of time??

The statute of limitations limits the time the state has to bring charges. Once charges have been brought and a warrant issued, they do not disappear, ever. In other words, you don't get rewarded for eluding the police by getting the warrant dismissed.
