entering a private home without a warrant and underage drinkingWhat is the name of your state?PA Recently my friends (4) and I were given Underage drinking citations at my apartment. The police responded to a noise complaint but did not have a warrant or probable cause to come in. I approached the door from the far side and so opened it a bit more and the three officers (one in plain clothe) stepped in without permission and then proceeded to find empty beer bottles. They sat us down and breathelyzed us and then searched the rest of our apartment. Are they allowed to just come into a private home without a warrant and/or probable cause just for a noise complaint? Is there anyway to reduce the penalty or somehow keep my driver's license because i have two jobs and one is a delivery driver? |

| What is your basis of knowledge concerning their lack of probable cause?

| This could effect your, "Delivery Driver" status. How on earth did you think they needed a warrant?

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.
