What is the name of your state? Virginia

He was served with a warrant, I think for assault and battery.

He held me down and spit on my face, in my eyes, and on my clothes and threw food
on my work clothes and said it is my fault, I made him do it, clean it up.

I checked the court information system and there is no case entered into their system and also no arraignment scheduled. Does that mean that they did not find evidence to charge him??

They did serve him the warrant but he lied to them and said that I am the abuser and I slapped him and broke into his email account, which I did not do.

What exactly is your legal question?

As far as whether or not they charged him, we have no way of knowing these things. At least not until the forum's new crystal ball shows up. It's been on back order for quite some time.

I am asking what the steps of the process are.

I write about legal issues, thank you very much, but I don't know
general timelines for various stages of the criminal process
and all the steps.

Basically, I am trying to find out what happens next.

Given the nature of this forum, I thought someone might have this
information readily at hand.

I mean that he is charged with assault and battery.

I think it can just take a while for it to get entered into the court
case information system.

I was just wondering why it is taking a while for an arraignment to get
set and don't know what happens next.

Like whether the detective calls me or what.

Call the Victim/Witness office with the DA ...They will be able to guide you through the process.
