Hi. Last year I got caught in dispute with my ex-husband which resulted in my getting a conditional criminal record - the case was adjourned for dismissal this month. The case is now closed and sealed - no public records. However, how do I go about having my name removed from all the various online databases pertaining to this case? The prior status impeded my chance in being employed at two companies in the past. I want it that when potential employers do a background check there is no information pointing to my ever being arrested. The court clerk claimed that I shouldn't haven't any problems going forward, but I still see my name showing up in the criminal record databases.
