Thirty to ninety days, depending on if he fights extradition or not.

If he is not picked up, he will be released. However, the warrant will remain in effect and he can be picked up on it again and again.
Generally the same agency will not hold him on it again, but there are tens of thousands of police, sheriff, state and highway patrol agencies in this country, so chances are, he will be in custody for it again in the future unless he takes care of it.
