my daughter has a court date tomorrow. she is out of state and her flight was canceled so she will not be back in time to go to court. what do i do? i should add some more details. she was 17 when she was ticketed for under age consumption (not a smart move). now she is 18.

I'm planning on going to the public defender's office first thing int he morning and going to her court date.
My concerns are:
she is now over 18-will it help for me to show up?
she does have her cell phone-can she call to enter a plea? (via conference call)
do we have enough time to file for an extension or reschedule the court date?
are the answers to my questions mostly up to the judge's discretion tomorrow?
