Exclamation

failure to pay warrant

state - Nevada

Hi

Question is I have a warrant for my arrest, due to traffic violation, it was a fine sent to collections. The warrant is for failure to pay.
I am now living overseas ( Europe ) I want to go back to the states.
My worry is if i do go back will i be arrested upon entry? or even after that? can i actualy be taken into custody?
I want to pay the fine! as soon as i have a Job there.

Thank you in advance for answering.

Hire an attorney in Nevada to appear on your behalf.

The Judge may require that you appear in person, or s/he may allow the attorney to make all appearances (possibly one, to resolve the issue with $$).

If the Judge requires your presence, have your attorney send a copy of the docket or a letter advising you to appear in that court on such&such future date.

Travel with that document & clear the problem up.
