Fake Id

Well, here's the thing. I made a fake ID as a gag, it didn't even come close to looking real. I went to a bar as a designated driver, they found the fake in my wallet and called the cops. Now there's a warrent out for my arrest and I'm trying to join the Coast Guard, I can't while that's a problem. Should I hire a Lawyer? And what kind of trouble can I get into for that?

you can probably get the prosecuter to drop the charges if you tell him about your enlistment plans or at least reduce to misdemeanor.affirmative action.dont delay
