Falsely accused

What is the name of your state? Massachusetts
Ok, well this girl is using my license everytime she gets stopped by the police. She has already gotten two tickets under my name and now my license is suspended. This is happening in Mass. but I have been in N.Y. for about a year. I have been to court already for the 1st violation and they told me that they were going to fix it but and they haven't so I don't know what to do about the girl or the police. She doesn't even have an i.d in my name she just states that she is me and they let her go. I don't know what to do can somebody give me some advice please, because I know that they could send out another warrant for me for something that I did not do and I could go to jail for that b....! So let me know. Thank You!

You need to go to each court and ask for an identification hearing. You will also have to supeona the officers that wrote the citations. Once it has been proven you were not the person cited, the citations will be changed. Also, the person will also be charged with giving false information to a police officer. You may want to talk to a MA attorney about this.

After my sister went through this same situation she went to the DMV and they were able to help her by Flagging her D.L so that any time her name was run through the system it would tell the officer doing the search to confirm her identity with valid picture I.d, don't know if you could get this done but it would be worth checking into. Good Luck
