Falsely Accused...

What is the name of your state? Kentucky.

I was with some of my friends while we were in a local store just goofing around, they were stealing tools and such. I left and went out to the car as I wanted no part in this, they followed out shortly. One of my friends got in the car, the other was stoped by the store security and he told him the police were coming, so me and my buddy doubting this as they had nothing on them when they left the store doubted this left. We were pulled over shortly after leaving the parking lot and asked to acompany the officer back to the store where they questioned us stating they had us on tape stealing, we let them search the car and our persons and they found nothing, so my buddies worked out a deal to show them where the stuff they had hidden was if no charges would be filed. They pointed out the stuff they had atempted to steal, and we were taken back to the security room of the store where they made us fill out some paper work "banning" us from any of the stores in the future. Although I had done nothing i was still made to do this, so my question is do I have the right to sue the store for deformation of character or anything of that nature?

How were you defamed?? You were with people STEALING....You were the "driver",had the others been successful in their crime you would have been just as guilty as they! You knew what they were doing in the store, yet you stuck around to give them a ride...

Edit to add: Boy...You are just a magnet for trouble are'nt you?? Everyone is out to get you...It couldn't be that YOU cause it...could it??

I never stated I was driving, nor did I state I agreed with them, hence me leaving the scene so I saw no actual crime being commited, I may have known what they were doing due to them telling me, but thats neither here nor there and can't be proven by any of the law inforcement officers. I wasn't asking if what I did was morale, and I was not directly involved and if the survelience camera footage they have of the the incident is actually in existance it will prove this. The way I see it with the rigth lawyer who can put the correct spin on this, we would come out with a nice sum from a international chain of stores.

I noticed you pointed out the other question I had, as to that again I am unaware of any such laws that make it illegal to be a rider, can you point them out for me? Blissful ignorance...Ahhh I love it!

May I ask what legal credentials you bring to the table? Secretary at a law firm maybe? If the way I see it is wrong then you care to explain to me how numerous cases have been decided with more than just the circumstancial evidence they possess, all they have is hearsay, nothing more than that. I really am unconcrened with the monatary gains that could be there, Im just interested in getting my name off a ban list that it was wrongly put on.

So I was correct that you're a paralegal, secretary, or clerk? Note the look of utter shock...If you're brining me a morally strong attorney to look over then this you needent waste your time, because in order to acompolish what I feel needs to be done I do not want a morale individual helping, because I am completly open to selling out my "friends" who have me in this situation in order to get my name off that list and to be compensated for the "mental anguish, depression, and deformation" that this incident has caused me

Look, if you read, you would know that not everyone on here is a lawyer. If that was the case, how could you have been able to post??
Just because you are getting advice that you do not want to hear, does not mean that's it's wrong advice!

Once a criminal always a criminal, and he won't be able to use the sorry excuse of "being young and naive" for very long.
