Can a person on felony deferred probation own a firearm in texas? The offense is Attempt to tamper with a government document

Can't vouch for Texas, but most places make a condition of the probation that you will not possess firearms during the probation.

If you complete the probation and the deferred adjudication dismisses the charge, you should be OK to possess firearms unless you are otherwise barred.
