Filing Expungement of Criminal record

What is the name of your state? Texas
I want to file for expungement of a dismissed theft by check charge and arrest. The checks were written by my ex-husband. Charges were dismissed against me but the arrest shows up on my record. My question is...does anybody know if filing for expungement is a process that I might be able to do on my own and if so, where would I find the forms, information, etc.
