Filing False Police Reports

What is the name of your state? Tn

Just wandering how it is handled? It has been bound over to grand jury and there is proof of the report. She was currently on probation for assault when this happened on the police report . Just wandering if she will be facing jail time. What happened was she was arguing with boyfriend and had the child in her arms and he pushed her down the steps and the child fell out of her arms and hit her head. She then ran to the neighbors and called the police her boyfriend was arrested and she filed the report on this. So after this happened she called the officer who tok the report and told him it was all a lie and that she did not want to press charges but he told her that it was not up to her the DA would make that decision and he told her do you know what you are saying now I have to arrest you for filing false police report so now it is bound over to the grand jury she goes to her pelimanry hearing nov 3 now I know this is where she enters her plea but then they will scedule the trial right? Do you think she will face jail time on this?
