filling applications after arrest

What is the name of your state? ca
After getting arrested, i'm trying to apply for jobs but am not sure what to put for the part of the application where they ask about convictions and crimes, etc. I'm suppose to mark "yes" if asked if I commited any crime right?

Also, I was arrested for public lewd, is it considered a disorderly conduct? What do I put when applying for jobs?

You put the truth. Of course, YOU know what that is and we don't.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

They usually only ask you if you have been convicted of a felony.
So if you have, you respond "Yes" then fill in the details under "Explain"
But if you haven't, you respond "No" and skip right over "Explain"

If you have been released pending trial, then you may be required to reveal that info.

From www.courtinfo.ca.gov:

"In California, section 432.7 of the Labor Code, states "No employer, ..., shall ask an applicant for employment to disclose, ..., information concerning an arrest or detention that did not result in conviction, or information concerning a referral to, and participation in, any ... diversion program, nor shall any employer seek from any source whatsoever, or utilize, as a factor in determining any condition of employment including hiring, promotion, termination, ..., any record of arrest or detention that did not result in conviction, .... Nothing in this section shall prevent an employer from asking an employee or applicant for employment about an arrest for which the employee or applicant is out on bail or on his or her own recognizance pending trial...."

Public lewd is considered a misdemeanor so if they only asked if I commited a felony, I mark no, but if asked any crime then yes right?

Yes.
I don't think you'll be seeing any applications asking if you've ever been convicted of any crime, unless you're trying to get into law enforcement or teaching, or something where they are going to do a background check on you anyway.
