Florida license suspension--cancel court date?

What is the name of your state? FL

A lawyer told me last week there is some mechanism, a court rule or some such thing, whereby someone can get their court date removed from the docket after a violation of Driving While license Suspended or Revoked, once the suspension has been cleared and they can show proof of that to the clerk. But he said not a lot of people know that, and a lot of lawyers spend time waiting in court for clients with these offenses, rather than getting them taken off the docket.

Anyone know what the trick to that is?

Never heard of such a thing... however, if there is a way to do it, surely the court will know about it, so why not just call them tomorrow and ask.
