What is the name of your state? Georgia.

My son is a gun collector. He is licensed. Two or three weeks ago, he loaned a gun to a friend who asked to borrow it for target practice. We've known this person for 15 yrs, and he thought nothing of it.

Last week, this person was arrested for robbing a bank. The first article we read stated that no weapon was used, but one was found in his residence. We assumed it was my son's. We weren't too concerned since we thought there was no gun used in the robbery, and at the worst, my son felt that he had lost this gun.

A later article stated that there was a gun used in the robbery, and now we're not sure what to do.

Should he get an attorney...contact the police?

Thanks for any info.
