What is the name of your state? IL

While going over the grand jury testimony in which my son was charged, the detective made a claim that was not true. He said that my son was stopped and a syringe was found in the car. He then stated that it was sent to the IL crime lab where it was found to contain heroine. The problem is that the crime lab results did not find heroine in the syringe. They did find heroine residue on a spoon but the spoon was never mentioned in the testimony. He may of just made an error or it could have been on purpose to make it seem worse then it was but in either case, is this something that would cause the charges to be dropped?

No. Such a thing is to determine if there was probable cause. The fact there was a syringe and that there was heroin on a spoon would be enough to indicate the same things that heroin in a syringe would indicate regarding probable cause.
