What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania.

Hello. Thanks in advance if someone can help answer this question...

I had a relationship with a man for 6 years or so, we broke up badly, lots of fighting back and forth - texts, etc. He had a police friend of his call me and warn me not to contact him again. WHICH I NEVER DID AGAIN!

Anyhow - now his "friend" on the force filed charges of harassment anyhow, even though its a proven fact I did not contact him after that officers warning to me. The officer did so months later -(6 months)!

Please advise me as to the validity of this scenario. I cannot see how, if I abided by the cop's warning -(gladly) - that he can still file charges!!
It stinks of police pulling favors for a friend...

Thanks for any information..
