Help!!!!!!

What is the name of your state?Virginia

I'm in need of some legal help as soon as possible!! My boyfriend and I went to a store a couple of nights ago and we noticed these guys there that he had, had problems with in the past. I told my boyfriend just to ignore them cause they were near the intrance of the store, that he should just go about his business!! Well my boyfriend went into the store to use the bathroom and the whole time i was in the car waiting and watching these guys. Both guys acted like they were going into the store then stopped and stood there until they seen my boyfriend come out the bathroom door. Both guys jumped into their car and drove right into my boyfriend. Needless to say he was mad and said a few choice words! Well both guys jumped out the car as if it was his fault for the guy hitting him! Well as soon as he had calmed down we went to the police department and then went to get a warrent on the guys...well the magistrate never said what type of warrent and never said what was gonna be done about anything!.....A couple of days later my boyfriend gets a notice saying he has felony charges on him for messing up the other guys car. It all makes no since at all to me....I mean they are the ones that hit him with the car at more than 5 mph! We need help and we need it fast...its not right what they are doing.

Thanks for any help I can get!!

Well, it sounds like they did the same thing your boyfriend did - went to the police and then a magistrate. Now, everyone needs attorneys. And when it goes to court (IF it goes to court) you will say what you saw, and everyone else will state what they saw.

When they ran "into" your boyfriend, he didn't happen to whack the car with something, did he? What was the cause of the damage? The impact of his body on the hood? What?

No the guy said that the damage was done to his car in a different parking lot and it was done to the roof and the back end of the car. Its already going to court..The only thing is I dont understand how the other guy can put felony charges on my boyfriend.
