Help Me...

What is the name of your state? Arizona

Me and my girlfriend were eating our dinner in our bedroom while our son was asleep in his room when i hear a knock at the door. Without looking in the peephole I open the door and with no warning 3-5 policemen rush in while one of them makes me sit down. I am constatntly asking them what the problem is with no responce. In the process of rushing in they asked who was in the apartment and i told them it was just myself, my girlfriend and my two year old son who was asleep. After getting my girlfriend in the living room and checking on my sleeping son they began asking us what was going on. I found out that they were called because somone reported there was fighting in our unit which was completely false. There was no loud noise or radio comming from my place, my two year old was asleep, no sign of disorderly conduct. A few cops ask me and my girlfriend questions seperarely when a cop comes out of my room and asks me to follow him. While we were answering the other cops questions a couple of them were searching in my room, and they found some marijuana and a pipe.

now i am being charged with the possession. what the hell do I do????Did they have to search more that just to make sure no one elce was there? Or can they just search whatever they want after being called to my apartment?

My response:

Where, exactly, was the pipe and the dope, Dope?

on a table not in plain sight you could have walked through the room without seeing it, you had to be searching for somthing to find it... by the way one of the cops had thought he had arrested me before for drug use (i had no record prior to this)

My response:

On a table? Well, I guess the cop "saw" it, much to your chagrin and incorrect theory. I would imagine any judge would just say you had it in plain view......sounds guilty.

Thanks, Thats honestly what I thought i was just mad that they were there on a completely different call that had no truth to it at all. I should have used the peephole and not opened the door at all.

Or, you could quit toking on the pipe. I bet you never thought of that, huh? Your a parent, it's time to grow up.

My response:

You're concerned about "possession"?

Look at the above two statements written by you. Do you see anything even remotely wrong with those statements when taken together?

A two year old walks, and grabs things faster than you can blink. You're worried about "possession"? You're damned lucky they didn't take your son away and turn him over to CPS while they arrested you for "Child Endangerment"!

Can you imagine what might happen to your son if he ingests that pot?

Yes, you're damned lucky. It's time to throw away your little teenage toys and grow up. Be a parent, and not a stupid pot-head.
