Does Juvenile warrant legally carry into adulthood?
What is the name of your state? Florida
My stepdaughter who is now 21 years old, committed petty theft and was arrested when she was 15. Her mother did not see to it that she completed the requirements of the court. A warrant was issued for her since she did not comply.
She knew nothing of the outstanding warrant until she came across it on the internet.
She does not want to have an arrest record. This is something that happened when she was 15 years old, and it has been 7 years. She has been pulled over at traffic stops, but there was never a mention of the warrant. I would guess this would be because the warrant carried over from juvenile to adulthood (18 years old).
What does she need to do to take care of this? What are her options?
