Help!!! Super Bogus Restraining Order

What is the name of your state? MI

I had a girlfriend who I let borrow $700 dollars. I really felt uncomfortable letting her borrow the money, but I didn't want her car to get repossessed so I loaned her the money and had her sign a contract that I wrote up on a piece of paper. She said she would pay me when she got her taxes back, but knowing that was probably not going to happen I said that she would pay me back ASAP or at a rate of $50 dollars a month.

So we break up and of course she says she will not have the money at tax time and she will not be able to start paying me back at all right now. So I say well just give me a date when you will be able to start paying me back so that I don't have to say anything to you about it until the date comes. She says she can't give me a date and that she will pay me back when she gets back on her feet. I was like well just give me an estimate. Then she says well if you keep asking me I'm going to get a restraining order. Then she starts making stuff up saying that I broke into a girls car and stole her radio when she owed me money. The only truth to that is that a girl owed me money, but she paid me back with no problems. She said she has to protect herself, her daughter and her property. I don't even know how to break in a car let alone take the radio out. What can I do now? I don't want a restraining order on my record. All I have on my record at this point is one speeding ticket. I've never even been in a fight in my life. Please help anyone. I need to protect myself. I wanted to start working for the govt. and a restraining order will not increase my chances.

take your contract to small claims court and file against her and it's over.

Thanks BelizeBreeze.

That seems like that will just help me get my money. Will that get rid of the restraining order too?

Thanks.

did she already get the restraining order? If no, then just concentrate on winning in small claims court.
