Well, 'boo', judges as a rule don't really like to send non-paying parents to jail and only do it as a last resort. As such, I have to believe that the judge gave your 'fiance' plenty of warnings and opportunities and very probably even said something like, "If you don't start paying this court ordered child support, you will be arrested and thrown in jail for 12 months".

And yet, he still failed to do what he was ordered to do. He has probably had enough 2nd chances. Now he got hammered. If you really want to help get him out, pay the outstanding debt and the court might have some lenience.

Finally, by sentencing him to jail, he is supposed to learn that his child support obligation is NOT voluntary, but a requirement. This lesson would be kind of weak if the sentence were "reduced" or allowed to be made into a "work release program".

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
