I was wondering how to know when a lawyer is needed? If I am being questioned in a serious crime along with other friends and family members and the questioning continues for over a week should I contact a lawyer? When do you know when being cooperative is taking for granted by police?

if i were you i would not make any more statements to the police. Now would be a good time to at least consult with an attorney
