A friend of mine was recently arrested in Georgia for a probation violation. He was put in jail w/o a bond because he was also on parole. Over a month after he went to court for the probation violation, two more charges were presented against him! Isn't there a time period that a charge has to be placed against you??? How can you commit a crime when you're already in jail? Someone said they only had 72 hours following your arrest but could someone please verify this?

Thanks,

Alaina
