What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? South Carolina
How long it should take the South Carolina Supreme Court to issue an opinion is often far different than how long it actually takes the South Carolina Supreme Court to issue an opinion.
The law of South Carolina that addresses this can be found in the South Carolina Code of Laws, Title 18, Chapter 9 - Appeals to Supreme Court and Court of Appeals - Section 18-9-290, Time for Filing Decisions:

The law states: "The Justices of the Supreme Court shall file their decisions within sixty days from the last day of the court at which the cases were heard."
