How to resolve arrest warrant from Aug 2000

I have been informed that I have an arrest warrant in NJ.
My brother was with friends when they were pulled over for a routine traffic stop for a missing tail lamp. For some reason, (PA plates maybe) the officers ID'ed everyone in the van including my brother. Somehow his name had been confused with mine and they told him there was an arrest warrant out in my name. After clearing things up with the officers they confirmed he was not me and went as they were and let them go. (but gave a ticket for the missing tail light).

So, of course he notified me of what happened. I am almost certain the warrant is related to my only arrest in my life on August of 2000, in Wildwood, NJ. I was caught trying to enter an establishment that served alcohol and was using a fake NJ ID. I was 20 at the time, only 1 month Togo until 21 but I got caught and that's how it is. Anyway, I was to appear in court two weeks later, obviously had gotten fined and sent on my merry way. I was also told in court that my jersey drivers license was to be suspended until fines were paid. I thought at the time, who cares I don't have an NJ license, I live in Philly. So started paying the fine in monthly payment increments. I received a letter stating to pay a $50 restoration fee to get my NJ license (which I don't have). I said screw it and never paid it thus now I have a warrant because the delinquent fine.

How should I go about getting this resolved? Should I contact north Wildwood police department and see how much I need to pay or will I have to appear in person, court, etc.??

Simple answer.... call the court from a payphone and ask them.
