i was arrested and now might be charged for a crime i did not commit help me

i am in the state of california and i was arrested on felony childendangerment charges from when my ex almost killed my son i wasnt even there at the time i was at work what do i do?

Hire an attorney.

My guess is that you were arrested for permitting or aiding in the conditions that allowed the child to be put at risk. You need an attorney ASAP.
