I need help on 272(a)(1)pc

I have a question I have been charged with 272(a)(1)pc in northern california

This is what happened I work as a computer repair man and do support work for a internet company too I have a nabor girl who was a freind of my sons want to talk to me and another nabor about being molested by a third nabor well I told her that she should tell her mother and have her call the police on him the girl is 16 at the time well after that the police filed a report and did there thing but nothing happened to the nabor for the crime so the girl felt that she could not be outside when he was or be anywhere he was with out adult being around that she could turn to for help he mother was always inside the house and never came out so the girl stayed indoors alot along with her brother her brother asked me and the nabor to watch her while she was out and her mom let her out and her brother well to make a long story short this went on for about 3 months and then she moved when she moved her mother went nuts or something happened and told all the nabors to stay away from her and her family and we did with out a problem however the daughter gos to school with my son and had asked my son for my cell phone number and he gave it to her this is where the trouble started she called it every chance that she had to just talk T told he to not call my cell phonme that its for work not play and this kept going on so I changed my number on it and did not give it to my son but when I called home he see the number on the caller id and wrote it down when asked again he gave it to her agian so I changed it again and then told him not to give it out to anyone at school but he did and then it went on again she would call asking me what ever crossed her mind I told the mother but got no action at all so I was left with this and did not want her to get into trouble with the law so tried to deal with it by making a deal with her I would only talk to her after work if I was not on a job but this did nothing she would still call so I thought I would just not answer but it caused me to lose jobs so I would anwser after all this I finaly gave in and asked what do you want she said she had a tooth ache and needed to go home I told her to call her mother she said that she was not at home so I told her I cant do anything she said call the office and tell them that she has to go home for a dentest appointment I told her if I did she had to stop calling me and I wanted to just get her to stop calling me so I though that if I did it it would not work anyways because the school asks for a code like her birthday or her home phone number or would call her mother and then she would get in trouble by her mother . this did not happen and I had no calles for about a 2 months from her she then started calling me again saying that she had a tooth ache and to call agian and was calling my cell phone like 15 to 20 times every hour causing me no to recieve calles on my cell from customers this went on for hours and then I gave in and wented to make sure that she wasnt getting out of school so I messed up on purpose by miss spelling her name and by giving my last name when they called her mother and told her the mother call the cops on me I then told them what happend and they left then after a month I get this letter saying I have a warrent for my arrest

I would like to know how I could defend my self against something like this
when I feel I was the one just trying to be nice and make the phone calles stop

Talk to an attorney. And you might consider getting a record of all your incoming calls as well.

But, this is just too weird to really comment on.

Perhaps his neighbors were related to Jim Nabors.
