Illegal Search/seizure ??

What is the name of your state? Idaho...my girlfriend is on felony probation, her probation officer showed up at my home one night when she was there and I was over at a friends house. The officer noted a sword hanging as a decoration on my wall and decided that gave him the right to search my home , as felons are not allowed to be around any weapons. In doing so they found an old pipe/ some empty baggys/ and took my locked personal safe and digital camera for some reason. She was arrested on a agents warrant. Did they have a right to come into my home and search it and take my belongings ? I am not on any type of probation/parole and never have been .

Generally implicit consent to such home visits are a requirement of her probation. Further the presence of weapons in her residence would seem to be reasonable suspicion to investigate further.
