What is the name of your state? Utah
I am wondering if there is a time limit placed upon LEOs to file an incident report with the DA/County Prosecutor? I have a firend who was arrested about a month ago. He showed up at the courthouse on his scheduled date and was told that nothing had been filed yet. We are both curious as to his right to a speedy trial. How does the LEOs time to file an incident report fall into the statute of limitations? As much information as possible on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
