Burgulary Charge/juvenile

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?I am in Texas and my 16 yr old son has been charged with bugulary of a habitation. They have no physical evidence and only have another boy's hear-say statement that my son was in the person's house. Not and eye-witness statement just a statement made out of fear that he would be blamed for the crime. However, my son did find and return some credit cards and a driver's license to the homeowner without prompting , which he found on the lawn between our houses. The police never recovered the other property the homeowner was missing. The homeowner also indicated that they had been missing a garage door opener and personal items in at least 3 other break- ins to their home. My son doesnt live with me and the home is my neighbors. He was not read his rights when he was charged with this crime either. Can you tell me if he can be convicted based on the evidence or the lack of in this case and what can I do?
