Interstate Compak Georgia

My fiance was put on probation for 10 years from the state of georgia for forgery in the 1st degree. He is originally from Florida and had his probation transfered to Florida. He was arrested 9/25/06 for VOP interstate and possesion of cannabis under 20 grams. He was given no bond on account of the VOP. However we are waiting on Georgia to make a decsion to have him extradited but they have yet to make a decsion. Some sources say he must spend 21 days for the VOP others say it's up to Georgia and that they have 7-10 days from the filling date of the case to extradite him if not done within that amount of time he is to be released upon Florida laws? I need some information and arent getting straight answers. PLEASE!!!
