Juvenile Law-Pennsylvaniamy son, who is 17 was stopped about a month ago by the police. the vehicle and the 3 other boys were searched. Drug paraphenelia was found and some marajuana. the boys were let go and the police said they would receive a citation in the mail. Should I not have been notified at the time of the incident, since he is still a minor? Please help. |

| Your son will receive a civil citation, not a criminal citation. You do not have to be notified. |

| But my son did not receive a citation. It was sent to the juvenile probation office and held until Aug. 26 and then charged with a burglary. I still have not received any citation or paperwork on this. When i asked the police for a copy, they said I needed a subpeona. |

| There is a whole lot more to the story than what you have posted. I can only respond to the information that I receive. |
