What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
I have a friend whose ex-husband raped her and sexually molested her 2 older daughters. He has been able to get away with it so far and to add insult to injury, he won custody of her 3 smaller children by a corrupt family court. THe state attorney closed the case on the child molestation for "lack of evidence" but the rape case is still open though we doubt they will prosecute. We will have a stroger case if we could get him to admit it on a recording. We know he would never admit anything over the phone plus there are federal laws about phone taping. Our idea is to get him to admit something while talking face to face and use a hidden audio/video device to record the conversation. We are trying to find out if this is legal to record without his knowledge and can it be used as evidence against him. Anyone having experience in this, we appreciate your input. We live in Florida
