Is this legal? Thinking of renting a room out to an escort

What is the name of your state? Tx

I have a friend who is an escort, and she wants to rent a room from me from time to time. I really don't have any idea what she'll be doing there. If she doesn't something such as have sex for money, am I libel and if so, how, considering I don't even know what she's doing there? I'm renting this house, if that makes a difference. No, this is NOT going to be a "brothel" type situation. It's only this one girl and I know her.

Dear Madam Needsadvice,

and yes, I do mean madam. Who are you trying to kid, you know exactly what she is going to be doing in that house. And she wants to rent "from time to time" so instead of a month to month lease, are you going to have a john to john agreement? If this isn't a brothel, how many more girls do you need before you have one??
