What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? South Carolina
I plan on applying at a college for their dental hygiene program. It states they perform a criminal background check. It also states that if the person applying has been convicted it would stop their approval. I was charged with simple assault misdemeanor but charges were dropped and I was not convicted, without having to complete community service or anything like that. Now, the application also asks a question but I am unsure of how to answer this:
Have you ever had any written complaint, formal accusation, final order, disciplinary action or consent order filed against you by any person, jurisdiction, or dental board?
