looking over my shoulder part 2What is the name of your state? ks this in in regards to a suggestion given on my previous thread "looking over my shoulder", it was suggested that i contact the courts in PA. and try to work out some kind of payment plan or something, I guess I don't understand, won't they seek to punish and not merely to gain restitution? and if so, would it be wise, might i be bringing myself to their attention only to have them seek to deal with me when otherwise i might have gone unnoticed?? Please help!! |

| The statute of limitations limits the amount of time the state has to bring charges, not how long they have to catch you once you are convicted. You will have to be looking over your shoulder forever if you do not deal with this. PA can extradite you whenever and if they feel like it. And you are right, this is not just a matter of paying a fine or restitution, but appearing for sentencing in a criminal case and serving your sentence. You must contact a PA criminal lawyer to help your get this sorted out. |
